This is going to come across bitchy, but I don't care.

Recently at the store to pick up a card and some candy for Richard for Valentines day. The girl ringing me up decided to comment on some items I was buying (which I love when people do anyway). She picked up the Diet Chocolate Dr. Pepper and said, oh is this good? I wish I could learn to drink this instead of tons of chocolate milk. I love chocolate milk ( rambles on an on) I said I haven't tried it and it's not for me.

She then proceeded to analyze my candy choices. Holding one up saying oooo you are going to be jealous I just went to germany and brought a bunch of those back. I said, again those are not for me they are for...she kept talking didn't hear a word I said. Now what pissed me off the most is that I feel she was trying to relate to me, letting me know she's a candy eating chocolate milk guzzler like me. Mind you I just left the gym and did one of Sully's torture training sessions for a few hours. All I could think is "DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO ME!" I may not be stage ready but I'm no size 18 either, which clearly she was. Am I overly sensitive? yes, but I don't care.

  1. Hey girl I feel your pain. I don't know what it is about ME...that people feel that they can just give me their critisim, advice or comments....I HATE IT!!!

  2. I actual have a habit of correcting people "nicely" when they say something wrong or pronounce something wrong. A co-worker said, "Baskin AND Robin"...I said, "You mean Baskin and Robbins...like the ice cream?" She got all offended and said she wasn't gonna' talk the rest of the day. Now mind you just had just had a conversation with me and our other co-worker about pronouncing words wrong. WTF...?
