xxx weeks out

I am xxx weeks out now and feeling good so far. Before I know it I'll be enjoying doubles. I am currently loving the Striiv app and pedometer. It counts your steps and estimates calories etc but it's really fun to use and challenge myself daily.
It has challenges throughout the day and since I am competitive I pretty much always say yes. You can compete just against yourself or add friends. I am quite interested to see how many steps I take when I am doing the doubles. Since they say 10,000 is optimal. Yesterday I actually hit 15446 and that was with a little over an hour of cardio and just cleaning and prepping food for the week.

Think Thin Brownie Crunch Protein Bar Review

Promax Double Fudge Brownie .60 g

1-5
1 being sawdust - 5 being I think I am eating a Milky Way

Taste 2.0
Texture 2.0
Sweetness 1.0
Overall1.75

First few bites were ok, it's pretty dense and the chocolate is not really odd tasting like most bars. But about half way through I swear I am eating salmon that is pretending to be a protein bar. It actually had a fishy aftertaste. I made it halfway through and here it sits next to me.I have no temptation to pick it up and continue and I am hungry too. This bar is gluten, wheat and sugar free mind you. But there has to be a better solution than this. Don't do it please save your taste buds. Tossing it now.

Promax Double Fudge Brownie Review

Eating BFL allows me the opportunity to try out some bars unlike a strict contest plan so I am going to start reviewing some products here:

Promax Double Fudge Brownie .69 oz

1-5
1 being sawdust - 5 being I think I am eating a Milky Way

Taste 3.5
Texture 3.5
Sweetness 3.5
Overall 3.5
Buy again Yes

Although small in size also small in calories with macros of 70 calories 1.5 fat, 9 carbs and 5 protein not too shabby. Now it does have6 grams of sugar which is a t-spoon and a half. But much better than other snacks. Not contest approved but fine for off-season or general weight loss.
